Waiting
I've never been very good at waiting. I'm an instant gratification kind of gal ... because of this I often loose interest and motivation to complete projects. As my husband can attest, I have many, many uncompleted projects laying around my crafting room and often get the comment "you're starting something new?". Yes, yes I am!

At the moment I'm waiting for a couple of things. One that is not knitting/crafting related is for my daughter to get home from the Dominican Republic. She has been there for 2 weeks on a mission trip and arrives home today. I've missed her terribly but know this has been a life changing trip for her, is teaching me patience, and teaching me to trust that she will survive without me :)
On more of a knitting note, I'm waiting for my testers to finish knitting my first cardigan pattern. I'm so appreciative of the work these ladies have put in to knitting this for me! But I want it done now so I can publish it ... waiting is so hard! It should be available in the next couple of weeks on Ravelry.
Sally is finished hers and you can see pictures of her beautiful cardi on Ravelry as well.
So while I wait, I knit. There's nothing like knitting to calm the anxious thoughts as I get into the soothing rhythm of the knit and purl stitches.
